OUR IMPACT

Thus far in 2022 (and the year is not over yet), we have provided $454,000 to 166 recipients in the Dallas Fort Worth area that have been diagnosed with cancer within the last 12 months.

Demand for our services has grown exponentially as word has spread about our Foundation. The number of applicants per month has more than doubled since the beginning of the year from 25 applicants per month in the first quarter to over 60 this month. To continue assisting those who cannot afford their life saving treatments or

transportation to their treatment, we urge you to Be the Light in Someone’s Darkness.

OUR PATIENT GRANT ADVOCATES

When God opens a door…or in this case a blind!

Janice Smith, a Stephen Minister at Whites Chapel, was praying to do even more for others in her life when last January, Karl Stafansson of The Blind and Shutter Guys, was repairing a broken blind in her home. He mentioned Me Squared to Janice and with that, a door was opened…or shall we say a blind!

Janice knows all to well the fear patients feel when her beloved husband was diagnosed not once but twice with cancer. She believes we are all one phone call away from that news. Janice  believes that no other organization is doing what  Me Squared does and as a result, case workers have been reaching out more frequently because they know that Me Squared can turn around an answer in 24 hours. And with those answers, doors are opening for patients to begin their life saving treatments! Janice works tirelessly to gather the financial information for  those decisions and feels helping a person at the scariest time of their life is the most gratifying part of her work. Me Squared has much gratitude for you Janice, for your passion and dedication!
